Introduction to the Process of Direct Drawing Machine

Release Date:2021-01-20 10:59:17 Author:Wire drawing machine manufacturer Views:

Direct wire drawing machines usually use passive wire laying, where raw materials are gradually wound on multiple stretching drums through a wire laying frame. At the same time, after passing through multiple molds, the wire diameter is drawn to a predetermined thickness, and then the wire is wound layer by layer onto the I-shaped wheel after the wire laying process. Today, the manufacturer of large-sized wire drawing machines will briefly talk about the process of straight wire drawing machines.
Piercing the mold. Before starting the entire machine, it is necessary to manually polish the front end of the raw materials and pass them through the mold step by step. Generally, the motor is operated at a low speed through a foot switch, and a tool is used to pull the wire from the front end of the mold to the back end. In order to pass through the next level of mold, the wire passing through the mold needs to be polished or thinned at the front end before it can pass through the next level of mold. In this process, it is required that the motor has a large and stable torque during startup and low-speed operation, stable operating speed, and no reverse rotation during deceleration shutdown.
Stretch. After manually threading the mold, a continuous stretching process can be achieved by gradually increasing the motor speed. Note that the stretching of a straight wire drawing machine is usually achieved by synchronous operation of five or more motors step by step. In actual operation, the speed range of the motor will be relatively large, and even the motor will work in a constant power range. In this process, it is required that regardless of the size of the load, the motor speed fluctuation is small, and the torque output is large and stable when working in low-speed or weak magnetic areas. It should be noted that the motors used for stretching must always be synchronized with each other during operation; And there is an air arm near the drum driven by each motor, and the up and down stroke positions of the air arm provide feedback on whether the current motor speed is synchronized with the front and rear stages through a 0-10V analog signal. Usually, the frequency converter introduces this analog signal as feedback for PID adjustment, and the given position is the 5V balance position; This also requires that the motor operation after PID adjustment must respond quickly and stably.
Roll up.   The finished product after stretching needs to be synchronously wound on the I-shaped wheel. Throughout the entire process, regardless of starting acceleration or stopping deceleration, the constant speed operation at any linear speed requires the running speed of the winding motor and the stretching motor to be synchronized. Otherwise, abnormalities such as wire breakage or tangled threads may occur. In this process, it is required that the winding motor has a fast speed response and precise speed control.
Cable arrangement. Usually, the finished wire is wound layer by layer on the I-shaped wheel. On the horizontal axis of the I-shaped wheel, the wire should be arranged in parallel and tightly from one section of the horizontal axis to another, achieving one layer; Then thicken layer by layer to achieve a finished roll. This requires a wiring device to complete the reciprocating arrangement of finished wire from the upper end to the lower end of the horizontal axis. According to the requirements of mechanical design, there are many ways to achieve cable layout, such as mechanical, frequency conversion, or servo.
Emergency stop. When an emergency occurs during the operation of the equipment, it is required to stop the entire equipment as quickly as possible. At this time, the stretching and winding motors are in a fast deceleration state, and it is required that the thread will not be pulled off after the shutdown process is completed, so as to ensure a smooth start next time.
